How about you, got anything to contribute or do you just like to whine and complain? Or are you one of those that call names from the fringes of the crowd and then duck? Oh, that's funny too, did you get it ... duck, like in quack, quack? Should I explain it to you?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7588496932754350322.post-66954401063633204512007-02-28T20:42:00.000-08:002007-02-28T20:42:00.000-08:00Is this a blog or a stupid metaphor contest? What will it be? Can't say -- it's a black swan event.

Last fall I predicted that "green" issues would kill the oil sands, but I was joking at the time. But now I wonder if the recent turning of the spotlight on "global warming" will turn out to be the black swan that leads to their demise.

---------------

Putting the above aside, the party's not quite over. But IMHO the party's host has run out of booze and is in a panic. A few guys just took off to make a late run to a local bootlegger but, unbeknownst to them, the guy is out of town.

The party will be over when it's over, not before, but inevitably ... there's no more booze.

February 28, 2007 1:37 PMAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7588496932754350322.post-41233257938241629142007-02-28T13:37:00.000-08:002007-02-28T13:37:00.000-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
